Scope of this Standard
This standard defines the criteria for the classification of pesticides including the pure substance and mixtures according to the acute oral, dermal and inhalation toxicity health hazards which they present. This standard does not apply to fertilizers, growth promoters and animal feed. It does not include the establishment of uniform test methods or promotion of further testing to address health outcomes.
